Direct to Joists
step 1Sand or plane joists level. Maximum distance - 450mm centres
step 2Fix T&G (preferably end matched for strength & astheticts) directly to joists with adhesive and secret nail with 40-45mm staples. No plank to span less than two joists and stagger all joins to avoid “clustering”.
step 3Sand,spot fill end joints, fine sand and apply polyurethane coating (min, 3 coats of poly).
